This is Deyvin Rivera. He is now a healthy four-year-old boy thanks
to the lifesaving surgery he received from HeartGift. Like thousands
of children each year, Deyvin was born with a hole in his heart.
Untreated it was sure to end his life. Living in Nicaragua in a
house with no electricity or running water and the nearest clinic
a day's walk away, there was little that Deyvin's parents could
do to save him. That's why they turned to HeartGift.
There are many more disadvantaged children like Deyvin who desparately
need heart surgery. Together, we can save them one gift at a time.
