Long time HeartGift Foundation Board member Robert Duncan approached members of the Houston medical community with an idea to expand the HeartGift model to Houston.  Thanks to a generous grant from the Strake Foundation in 2009 that dream became a reality, and HeartGift Houston treated its first child in the Fall of 2010, Yan from China. 

The Houston chapter is lead by Board President Kay Crouch.
